ORAL PRESENTATION- GUIDELINES

IMPORTANT! During the presentation there will be a timer informing about the remaining time for presentation.

Please use the IHS 2017 Presentation Template for your lecture
-Oral lectures will be held up to 9 minutes. (7 minutes lecture and 2 minutes for Q+A)
-Presentations should be in 16:9 ratio and Movies should be in WMV/ MP4 format.
- PPT must be up to 9 slides: First slide - Lecture' title, Second slide -Statement Conflict of Interest, and 7 slides with content.
-Available technical equipment provided in each hall.
-In each hall there will be a projector and computers compatible with at least Windows 7 and Office 2015.
-For your convenience, there will be a Speaker Preview Room where you will be able to set up your PowerPoint presentation prior to your talk.
-It will not be possible to use your personal laptop.Please note you need to bring your presentation on a Memory Stick (using the computer’s USB port) and load it in the Speaker Preview Room, at least 1 hour before the beginning of the session.
-The Speaker Preview Room will be open each day from 07:45 until the end of the sessions.

Important note for Macintosh users:
In order to use MAC presentations on a PC compatible computer, please note that you need to prepare it according to the instructions below, before bringing it to the Speaker Preview Room.

1. Use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. (special fonts might be changed to a default font on a PowerPoint based PC).

2. Insert pictures as JPG files (and not TIF, PNG or PICT – these images will not be visible on a PowerPoint based PC).

3. Use a common movie format, such as AVI, MPG and WMV (MOV files from QuickTime will not be visible on a PowerPoint based PC).
